When and how have we seen these trends coming back into style?
Many of the styles worn in the seventies have not come back into style due to them being unflattering and well, ugly. But, we have seen some of their patterns and even fringe come back into trend lately. On the contrary, We have seen many of the 1960s’ “hippy” fashion trends come back into style, such as tie-dye and bright colors, flared pants, flowy blouses. Also similar patterns to the time, go-go boots, and mini skirts are definitely popular at the moment.

Many other aspects of life at the time influenced fashion, just like today. Some of the most popular musicians were the Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, The Grateful Dead, and Pink Floyd, each with their own personal styles. The Beatles wore form-fitted suits, Fleetwood Mac and The Grateful Dead wore bohemian and hippy styles, and lastly Pink Floyd sported alternative and colorful garments. We still see the cultural influences of these bands today in band-tees, and more general styles.
